Axelent Safety Webinar

the 16th of May at CET 11:00 am

In this webinar our safety expert Matthias Schulz, will answer the question
– What performance level do my door safety switches need?

The webinar will start out by explaining the term “PL = Performance Level” and its synonym “SIL = Safety Integrity Level”. The term “safety related reliability” will be explained in simple terms by comparing three vehicles and their brakes. Then the insights from that example will be applied to three other machines. The further explanations will be based on the ventilation fan unit with an interlocked or guard locked door. The differences regarding interlocking and guard locking will be explained.

Clear focus will be on the fact that the PL of the switch alone is not relevant, but that of the entire safety circuit must be considered.

Let's navigate the world of door safety switches together with clarity and confidence.
