Axelent acquires NTF to drive global growth in stainless and hygienic safety solutions
The combination brings together Axelent’s global machine-guarding platform with NTF’s specialist expertise in stainless and hygienic solutions for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
Axelent acquires Danish stainless steel specialist NTF, bringing together two companies with complementary products, expertise and strong market positions.
NTF has built a strong specialist platform within stainless and hygienic solutions, with particular expertise in machine guarding and equipment for demanding food, beverage and pharmaceutical environments. By becoming part of Axelent Group, NTF gains access to Axelent’s international sales organization and global market presence, creating a strong platform for further international growth.
The acquisition is driven primarily by growth opportunities. Axelent sees significant potential in making NTF’s specialist solutions available to customers across its international markets, while NTF will contribute its stainless and hygienic know-how, product expertise and application knowledge to the wider Axelent organization.

NTF will continue its activities from Støvring, Denmark, under the name NTF – part of Axelent Group. The existing organization in Støvring will remain unchanged as a result of the acquisition.
As NTF’s products and expertise are gradually introduced across Axelent’s international markets, the companies expect activity in Støvring to increase and, over time, to grow the local team.

Strong international potential
One of the key opportunities is NTF Protect, NTF’s range of stainless steel machine guarding solutions. The product range complements Axelent’s existing machine-guarding offering and creates new opportunities particularly within the global food and beverage industries.
Over time, NTF and Axelent will work together to make relevant NTF solutions available across Axelent’s markets, supported by NTF’s specialist team in Støvring.
For existing NTF customers, the acquisition does not change the day-to-day cooperation. Customers will continue to work with the existing NTF organization and contacts, while gaining the long-term benefits of NTF becoming part of a larger international industrial group.
